Thunder Bay Amethyst is found in Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada.
This piece is the distinctive “red cap/red top” variety. It has layers of red hematite inclusions, but from the side you can see the beautiful classic amethyst purple coloring.
This specimen is extra special in that it is also double sided.
